Bummed out

I am really bummed out that I didn't get to finish the ring I was working on today..& more upset I let it all get the best of me and not finish my day doing what i love....I was an emotional mess after receiving some information that a so called friend had said...I have done alot of crying today and my heart is broken but that is what makes me stronger..Knowing that I am a good person and knowing that my family and my really real friends are always behind me and would never say such things...I am a good fun loving big hearted person....I love my job and what I do and I love everyone around me...but I now know that I really have to watch who I trust again...I open up and then get smacked again..Does this mean I should be a mean and vindictive person so I have a guard up always?? Or do I continue to be the same wonderful person that I believe that I am...I think I will stay me and hold my head up and try not to let things bring me down.....

POPPIES AND LEAVES-Poppy Jasper Sterling Silver Ring

Poppies and leaves was inspired by Fall and all the changes in mother earth...

I have set a gorgeous Poppy Jasper into sterling silver..Measuring 22mmx22mmx6mm (approx 1in x 1in) She is hugged securely by scalloped bezel and sits on a sturdy back plate...I set two thick leaves and silver spiral and heat formed ball next to stone, hand sawing around designs I hand filed and buffed her...The Poppy Jasper bursts with oranges, yellows, browns, greens, which you will also see small poppy like flowers..This is where this stone gets her name...I used a thick textured band US SIZE 7..(this ring can not be re-sized..The back is stamped with my initials of CBR...I hand brushed a patina to make the detail pop..Then tumbling her for hours for strength and shine...

Poppy Jasper acts somewhat like adrenaline, waking up and energizing areas of the body that appear to be sleeping. It is believed to encourage a deep connection with the life of the Earth. It inspires a positive, joyful attitude and gives the motivation and energy to take creative action.

WOW what a most gorgeous day!!

I just wanted to talk about how much I love Fall...I love the weather the scenery, the smells, tastes, breezes, colors...to inspirational and gorgeous...I love how the leaves change color and fall to the ground creating a most beautiful natural art...The most beautiful art on Earth...Natures Art...I look out my windows and see the gorgeous nature that this earth possesses...I was out yesterday and every time I opened the door I smelled such wonderful smells leaves, pumpkins, apple cider, bonfires...just seemed like everywhere I went the air was filled with the most fabulous smells...I just want to appreciate every moment I have on this earth with friends family etc....You all should take a moment and step outside and hug a tree or take a deep breath....

Wishes was 100% handmade...I used Sterling silver wire and beaded Amethyst beads, sterling silver textured beads..wire wrapping each end then bent them into hoops..I then handmade ear wires and hung each earring from the ear wire to creat e a dangling hoop...
